Sitting on the coast of Wicklow, Arklow Bay hotel is as romantic a wedding venue as it is majestic. For weddings of 17 to 170 guests, this country house is a truly magical wedding venue. Every time A Good Few Men is hired as the wedding band at Ballybeg House, we’ve had a ball! As a wedding venue in Arklow, Ballybeg house is steeped in history as far back as the early 1700s. The house itself is unique and intricate, whether your wedding takes place indoors or under the canopy of their Victorian-style grand marquee.
Clonwilliam House has taken its place atop the wooden tiles of the Vale of Avoca for some 350 years. Of course, Ireland is renowned for its gorgeous green landscape, but the grounds and woodland views from Clonwilliam house really are the epitome of this country’s spectacular beauty. As majestic as it is magical, this wedding venue in Arklow had to make it onto our wedding band’s favourites list.
Situated in the heart of the Vale of Avoca and beside Aughrim River, Woodenbridge Hotel & Lodge is one of Arklow’s most picturesque places to say ‘I do’. Their banqueting room is flooded with natural light from floor to ceiling windows which boast an extraordinary view. Of course, as an Arklow wedding band, we think it’s a great spot when day turns into the night too!
BrookLodge & Macreddin Village
Not far from Arklow, snuggled in Wicklow Valley is BrookLodge and the adjoining Macreddin Village. The Irish Neo-Gothic architecture of BrookLodge manor house is an unforgettable wedding venue in which our wedding band has watched and been part of a plethora of wedding celebrations.
